You’ve been practicing yoga for a while now, and it’s starting to feel like you’ve reached a plateau.

You’re itching to go deeper; to learn more; to expand your yoga practice.

 

Our Yoga Teacher Training is designed not only to help you become a qualified, confident yoga teacher, but to help you delve further into your personal practice. With over 100 hours of anatomy training, you’ll understand how and why poses work; but that’s only the beginning. We’ve incorporated Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) training, self-study, and one-on-one coaching calls to help you learn more about your practice and deepen your connection with the energetics and personal transformation that yoga offers us.

 

This program is entirely virtual, meaning you can practice in the comfort of your own home and will have the opportunity to connect with a diverse group of global students throughout your study.

 

With thousands of yoga teacher trainings on the market, we’ve worked hard to create a program to serve students who are seeking both personal and professional growth. Who don’t just want to teach yoga, but long to live it more fully in their day-to-day lives. Training Dates:

The program will consist of both live, online training sessions and self-paced study. The live training calls will occur once a month starting in September and continuing through March.

 

Live Training Times: 

  • Friday 6pm-9pm EST

  • Saturday 9am-3pm EST

  • Sunday 9am-3pm EST

 

Live Training Dates:

  • September 25-26

  • October 8-10

  • November 5-7  

  • November 20-21 (very short day on 21st) 

  • December 3-4

  • January 21-23

  • February 4-6

  • March 4-6

 

In addition, there will be an asana lab in October and November, the dates of which are TBD.

 

Students will gain access to self-paced training content prior to the course beginning and have a chance to begin their self-study before the first live training session in September.

Training Breakdown:

Below is a breakdown of what’s included in your Yoga Teacher Training. All students will receive a 200-hour RYT Yoga Alliance Certification upon the successful completion of the training. 

 

  • 74 hours General Study (philosophy, history, EFT, teaching techniques, etc.)  

  • 60 hours Self-Study (audio & video practices, reading texts, writing assignments, etc.) 

  • 25 hours Anatomy Training

  • 25 hours Asana Practice

  • 14 hours Asana Labs

  • 2 hours 1:1 Coaching Calls with Meg

 

In addition, students will gain unlimited access to the Glow Yoga Academy from the months of Sept-December and will have the opportunity to attend two half-day Advanced YTT teasers in December for Prenatal YTT & Restorative YTT.

Meet the Teachers

Candace Morrison

RMT, BSc. Biology, 750-RYT, Certified Hatha and Vinyasa Teacher 

 

Candace is an anatomy educator and a long-time practitioner of yoga and meditation, who brings her science background to yoga. Candace’s focus is to bring an evidence-based approach to asana as she brings her pursuit of life-long learning and knowledge of the human body to teach how asana impacts the body systems.​​

When you come to learn yoga with Candace, you’ll be able to better understand the principles of alignment and the body’s connection with asana. Candace focuses on an evidence-based practice that connects mind, body and breath. Get ready for a deeper understanding of the impact an asana practice will have on human physiology and supporting homeostasis in the body.

Meg DeFinney

EFT Practitioner, 225-RYT, Certified Vinyasa and Restorative Teacher 

 

Meg has been practicing Yoga at Glow for over 8 years, and is a 2019 Graduate of Glow's Illuminated Teacher Training. Meg has a passion for Vinyasa Yoga along with Kundalini as she is deeply engaged in energy work. Meg's love for intense breath work and vigorous movement makes for an intense but accessible class for all levels of students. 

 

Meg has an extensive background working in the Mental Health field, which has led her to become certified in areas such as Mindfulness, Trauma informed care, Reiki level 1 and Emotional Freedom Technique . This has allowed Meg to bring a more well rounded approach to her classes, while connecting the Mind, Body and Spirit. Meg is deeply engaged in the ongoing spiritual development that can be found in a Yoga practice, and this shines through during her classes.

It has been amazing. It's so hard to put into words. When I started this journey I had just finished school and had been done for about a year. I felt passionless but felt pressure from everywhere to know what I want to do. Going into the course I was very unsure about myself. During this course I have grown immensely and my confidence is crazy, going back I can say that I have changed so much. I've had such a great time.
